Autodesk's Instructables is a platform designed for users to create and view DIY projects. I designed a mockup app for the platform using Figma, which involved creating my own mock-up of a DIY tutorial for braiding hair and all of the screens a user might see while navigating the app.

This was a collaborative project focused on making an interactive prototype for an online voting ballot for the 2016 California general elections.

The application is meant to take user identification, cross-check it with a photo, and if verified, allow the user to vote for a candidate of their choice. It also takes into account some common accessibility options.

This project involved analyzing various page views for Instagram's website and recreating them in Figma, and finding room for improvement in various aspects of the user interface.

The process comprised of an initial recreation of the photo editing menu. From there, it moved into investigation of what parts could be improved. Then, modifications were made in Figma and finalized to blend with the initial design of the page.

After several iterations, I came up with a final re-design for Instagram's photo editing view:

Problem Statement: Our client was unable to independently clean herself when she needs to go to the bathroom in public. This has impacted her relationship with food and other people, and current products fail to accommodate her mobility needs. Our solution should allow her to reclaim her independence through a robust, portable, and reliable device.

The portable bidet is a project I worked on with two other team members to provide our client with a solution for their specific needs.
